Better known now as ‘the playing fields’, councillors are looking at making the fields fit for the future. What do YOU use it for at the moment? Playing footie? Walking the dog? Relaxing by the wildflower bed? Working out in the gym? Whatever you do, we’d like to know how good (or not so good) the experience is, and what we might do to make it better for everyone.
So – would you like to see more play equipment? A quiet area for yoga? A running track? Or a proper seated area? It’s up to you, and from now until Sunday 7 September, the parish council is carrying out a major survey to find out what you think, and inviting you to have your say on its future. You can take the short survey online (details on the council’s website) or pick up a paper copy from the Spar shop in Menheniot centre.
(and can you think of a better name than East Road Playing Field? There’s a little prize for the best suggestion)
